The role's mission is to perform structural code adjustments in legacy systems, ensuring compatibility and stability of batch and online routines. **Responsibilities** — Adjust COBOL/400 code (e.g., changing PIC 9 fields to PIC X). — Review and correct impacted batch and online routines. — Ensure compatibility in REDEFINES, substrings, and validation masks. — Work on critical registration and integration systems. — Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting of legacy code. — Document solutions and changes implemented. **Requirements** — Solid experience in COBOL/400 (AS/400\). — Experience with DB2 and VSAM. — Hands-on experience with critical integration and registration routines. — Experience with version control (GitLab or similar). — Analytical capability to work on complex legacy systems. — Minimum 8 years of COBOL development experience. **Preferred Qualifications** — Experience with structured technical documentation. — Experience in legacy system modernization or adaptation projects. — Organized profile with a quality-oriented mindset. **Additional Information** Work Model: Remote Working Hours: Business hours Employment Type: Project-based / Temporary
