If you receive any payment request or job offer outside Gupy, please be cautious — this is not part of our recruitment practice. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop new features and evolve existing systems, focusing on quality, scalability, and maintainability. * Demonstrate expertise in software architecture and ability to propose structural improvements to the system. * Implement integrations between internal and external services (APIs, microservices, distributed systems). * Write clean, testable, and efficient code following engineering best practices and area-defined standards. * Create and execute automated and unit tests to ensure delivery quality. * Collaborate closely with product, QA, frontend, and data teams to guarantee end-to-end delivery. * Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to collective learning and maintenance of technical standards. * Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. * Document workflows, architectures, and adopted practices to strengthen knowledge sharing. * Participate proactively in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives), adopting a constructive and solution-oriented attitude. * Mentor junior and mid-level developers. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements** * Solid backend development experience with **Node.js and Java**. * Experience with **relational and non-relational databases** (MySQL, MongoDB). * Experience handling **large data volumes and complex/heavy queries**. * Knowledge of **modular service architecture and RESTful APIs**. * Experience with **automated testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD**. * Prior experience working in **digital product teams** and agile methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication across technical and business stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in **healthtechs** or organizations with high technical complexity. * Hands-on experience with **AWS** (EC2, RDS, SQS, Elastic Beanstalk). * Prior experience developing solutions using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc.). * Experience in **observability, monitoring, and SRE best practices**. * Prior experience in **high-scale, high-volume data environments**. **Additional Information** **Conexa Benefits:** **CAJU Card**, monthly credit of R$ 1,059.00 distributed across categories: Meals, Food, Mobility, Health, Home Office, Culture, and Education; **AMIL S450 Health Plan – Eligible**, with 30% co-payment for consultations and exams and 40% for emergency services; extendable to legal dependents (spouses and/or children up to age 24); dependent costs are deducted from payroll.
