Senior Backend Developer .NET 8

About the position: We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build and evolve robust, scalable solutions in a high-criticality environment within the financial sector. This role involves developing modern microservices using .NET 8, working on distributed architectures on Azure, and actively participating in strategic technical decisions. We seek someone with strong architectural vision, a focus on performance and software quality, and an interest in contributing to the team’s technical growth. Responsibilities: ✔ Develop and maintain microservices using .NET 8 / .NET Core. ✔ Design resilient, scalable, and secure architectures in Azure environments. ✔ Ensure high performance and data integrity in complex SQL Server environments. ✔ Optimize queries, perform data modeling, and implement indexing strategies. ✔ Orchestrate and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters via Rancher. ✔ Actively contribute to architectural decisions using Clean Architecture and DDD. ✔ Implement and maintain asynchronous integrations using messaging (RabbitMQ or Kafka). ✔ Promote software engineering best practices, including automated testing and code reviews. ✔ Work directly on business rules in the financial domain, such as payments, credit, settlement, or investments. ✔ Mentor less experienced developers and support the team’s technical evolution. Requirements: ✔ Solid experience with .NET 8 / .NET Core and C\#. ✔ Advanced knowledge of Entity Framework Core and Dapper. ✔ Experience with microservice architecture. ✔ Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, query optimization, indexing, and data modeling. ✔ Practical experience with Azure, GitHub, and Azure DevOps. ✔ Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and cluster management via Rancher. ✔ Experience with Clean Architecture and DDD (Domain-Driven Design). ✔ Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. ✔ Knowledge of unit, integration, and load testing. ✔ Experience in mission-critical and high-availability environments. ✔ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams. Nice-to-have: ➕ Prior experience in the financial sector or fintechs. ➕ Experience with observability and monitoring of distributed applications. ➕ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. ➕ Experience with platform engineering practices and DevOps culture. ➕ Microsoft Azure or Kubernetes certifications.
