Opportunity to mentor and coach fellow engineers **Senior Android Engineer** =========================== Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Panama \| Full\-time ### **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced **Senior Android Engineer** to design, develop, and prototype native Android applications for both internal and external users. You will participate in the **full app lifecycle**: from concept, design, build, and deployment to testing and release in the app store. In this role, you'll collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to bring new ideas to life, build engaging mobile experiences, and continuously improve our products, processes, and tools. ### **What You'll Do** * Work cross\-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute on product strategy and deliver impactful features. * Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, coding, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. * Review code and design documents, providing feedback on product specs and UI/UX mocks. * Define and uphold standards that improve developer workflows and best practices. * Mentor and coach fellow engineers to support their professional growth. * Continuously improve your technical and non\-technical skills while helping raise the bar for the team. ### **Who You Are** * 7\+ years of experience in **Android development** with strong expertise in **Java or Kotlin**. * Solid foundation in **software engineering fundamentals**. * Proven experience building mobile applications at scale (1M\+ users). * Comfortable designing data\-intensive, responsive, and fault\-tolerant apps optimized for mobile environments. * Passionate about creating scalable, well\-designed software that improves people's lives globally. * BS in **Computer Science** or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. ### **About the Client** Our mission is to bring community and belonging to everyone in the world.
