This role sits at the intersection of Analytics, Product, and Business, focusing on analytical modeling, KPI definition, and building reusable data products that support strategic decision-making and AI initiatives. Your role is to bring order to analytical chaos, ensure metric consistency, and transform recurring analyses into scalable data products. **Responsibilities and Duties:** **Analytical Modeling & Metrics** * Develop and evolve dimensional and metric-oriented models (facts, dimensions, and analytical aggregations). * Structure and standardize corporate KPIs, ensuring a single, consistent definition across departments. * Build domain-oriented data marts. * Define and maintain a semantic layer for consumption in BI tools and analytical applications. * Document business rules and metric calculations clearly and auditably. **Solution Development and Data Products** * Design and evolve data products based on certified metrics. * Create analytical datasets ready for consumption by BI tools, internal systems, and automations. * Structure reliable data foundations to support AI initiatives and predictive models. * Transform recurring manual analyses into scalable solutions. * Collaborate with business areas to co-design data-driven solutions. **Quality, Governance & Performance** * Implement quality tests in the analytical layer. * Ensure traceability and consistency of metrics. * Maintain control over versioning and evolution of analytical models. * Guarantee adequate performance for analytical consumption. * Contribute to standardization and governance of indicator definitions. **Strategic Engagement** * Work closely with Product, Operations, and Finance teams to define strategic metrics. * Serve as a technical reference in analytical modeling. * Elevate the organization’s data maturity. * Identify opportunities to transform data into new products and analytical solutions. **Expected Impact** * Eliminate metric discrepancies across departments. * Create reusable analytical assets. * Enable AI initiatives with structured data. * Reduce redundant analytical work. * Position data as a strategic pillar of the company. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems**, or related fields. * Proven experience as an **Analytics Engineer** or Data Engineer. * Proficiency in **Python** and **SQL** for developing and optimizing data pipelines. * Solid understanding of **distributed Big Data** concepts and practices, including **batch** and **real-time** processing. * **Experience optimizing query performance and tuning queries** in **Redshift and Spark** environments. * Knowledge of **data modeling** (relational, dimensional, and lakehouse). * Familiarity with **Git, CI/CD, and DataOps/DevOps practices**. * Excellent communication skills, **technical leadership**, and **cross-functional collaboration**. * An **analytical, proactive, and results-oriented profile**, with strong technical excellence. **Additional Information** Flexible Benefit/Meal Allowance: BRL 45.00 per business day.
