Job Summary: Provide technical expertise in calculating, analyzing, and preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and serving as a technical reference within the accounting area. Lead financial/fiscal closing and participate in audits Job Mission: Provide technical expertise in calculating, analyzing, and preparing the company's financial statements, ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations. Serve as a technical reference within the accounting department, with emphasis on the specificities of the transportation sector, contributing to the generation of reliable and legally compliant information. Main Responsibilities: \* Perform complete bookkeeping for all company operations; \* Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity), ensuring compliance with CPCs and current legislation; \* Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, focusing on detailed reconciliations and consistent justifications; \* Calculate Corporate Income Tax and Social Contribution Tax; \* Lead monthly and annual financial/tax closing, ensuring data integrity; \* Actively participate in submitting ancillary obligations such as ECD, ECF, and annual IBGE reports; \* Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications; \* Contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes and controls; \* Stay continuously updated on applicable tax and accounting legislation; \* Guide and supervise the tax team’s work, ensuring tasks are performed and delivered with integrity and within deadlines. Job Requirements: Education: \* Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences; \* Active CRC registration. Desirable: \* Postgraduate degree or specialization in Accounting, Controllership, or related fields. Experience: \* Solid experience in the accounting field, preferably in transportation companies; \* Experience with financial closing and preparation of financial statements. Technical Knowledge: \* In-depth knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPCs); \* Proficiency in ERP systems (Visual Rodopar); \* Advanced Excel.
