Job Summary: We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to work in an environment with a solid technical culture, strong appreciation for internal teams, and autonomy for development. Key Highlights: 1. Working with high autonomy and a strong focus on developer quality. 2. A solid technical culture and strong appreciation for internal teams. 3. Opportunities for professional development and growth. We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join the engineering team of one of our Health clients — one of the largest health benefits platforms in Brazil and Mexico, providing access to over 29,000 gyms and operating in more than 2,500 cities across Brazil and Mexico. The company boasts a robust technical culture, extremely low turnover, and strong appreciation for internal teams. We seek curious, proactive professionals with a business-impact mindset, who master Flutter but are genuinely willing to navigate other technologies within the ecosystem (TypeScript and Flutter), gaining end-to-end product understanding. You will work with high autonomy, developing and growing within an environment where quality is the direct responsibility of the developer — without separate QA teams: developers build, test, ensure quality, and maintain their own code. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What You Will Do** * Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails. * Participate in the full development lifecycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring. * Contribute to the evolution of the core (monolith) as well as microservices and integrations with partners (e.g., ERPs, payment gateways, external platforms). * Ensure technical quality through Code Reviews, engineering best practices (Clean Code, SOLID), and team standards. * Monitor and optimize performance: APM, resource tuning, query analysis and improvement. * Work in multidisciplinary squads using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), with close collaboration between engineering and product teams. * Navigate between contexts (when needed) across TypeScript and mobile teams, maintaining a systemic perspective. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Seek** * Proven senior-level experience with Ruby on Rails. * Proficiency in REST APIs (design, documentation, and consumption). * Solid experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling. * Experience with Git/GitHub. * Strong familiarity with automated testing (e.g., RSpec — and understanding of unit, integration, and black-box testing approaches). * Hands-on experience with Cloud (AWS). * Ownership mindset: autonomy, proactivity, and focus on delivering value with technical responsibility. **Nice-to-Have** * Microservices architecture and messaging (AWS SNS/SQS). * Docker and Kubernetes. * NoSQL databases and caches/queues: Redis, DocumentDB, DynamoDB. * CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD). * Spanish (not mandatory). **Additional Information** **Work Model** * Remote work. * CLT employment model. * International interactions exclusively via written communication. * Fluency in other languages is not required, but is considered a plus. **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We have been in the market for 17 years, partnering closely with our clients to deliver transformative experiences. We are a global technology and innovation ecosystem; beyond Brazil, we operate in Europe and the UK, with offices in Portugal, London, Dubai, and the Netherlands. **F for Formation: We believe in sharing knowledge, fostering community, and recognizing that knowledge holds the power to transform!** We run social initiatives and programs promoting development, such as the Orange Juice tech community, the Training Program, our leadership school, and numerous partnerships with NGOs and Edtechs. **At FCamara, everyone is welcome. For us, Diversity, Respect, and Ethics are non-negotiable values deeply embedded in our DNA.** **So, are you ready to join an amazing team and become the protagonist of your own story?**
