Description

Job Summary: Join a project focused on application modernization to ensure quality assurance by planning and executing functional, integration, regression, and load testing, as well as automating tests and ensuring delivery quality. Participating in the evolution of quality and testing practices with AI . **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure quality assurance in an application and service modernization project; * Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and load tests in test and staging environments; * Validate APIs, microservices, and modernized applications, ensuring technical and functional compliance; * Create and maintain test scenarios and cases, both manual and automated; * Automate tests for web, APIs, and integrations; * Support and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines; * Identify, report, and track defects until resolution; * Ensure delivery quality prior to production release, mitigating risks and failures; * Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with development and architecture teams; * Support validation of refactored workflows and new interfaces; * Evaluate security aspects across development pipelines, including: SAST testing (source code analysis for vulnerability identification); DAST testing (simulating attacks against running applications); * Support the evolution of quality and testing practices within the project. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) with focus on manual and automated testing; * Experience executing functional, integration, regression, and load tests; * Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI; * Experience with test automation using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, or similar; * Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, K6, or similar); * Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar); * Knowledge of modern system architectures (APIs, microservices); * Experience validating applications in cloud environments; * Basic knowledge of application security practices, including SAST and DAST; * Experience with security analysis tools such as SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite; * Analytical ability to design test scenarios and identify defects; * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams; * Proactive, organized, and quality-oriented mindset; * Preferred: Experience in system modernization or legacy migration projects; Mainframe environment experience; Experience with distributed and cloud-based architectures; Knowledge of DevOps and continuous quality practices. **Additional Information** \#remote Compass UOL is a global firm and part of the AI Revolution Company, together transforming organizations using Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and other of today’s most advanced technologies.
