Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer to work on programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirement gathering and system analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with Remote Sensing, Aerial Photogrammetry, and GIS 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3. Familiarity with React, React Native, Angular, or Vue Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Cadastres (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are looking for a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, supported by requirement gathering and analyses conducted by systems analysts. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to continuously acquire new knowledge.
