**Production Leader (Food Industry) Job Mission** Ensure the efficient and safe execution of production processes, guaranteeing quality, productivity, and achievement of targets through team leadership and development. **Responsibilities** * Plan, organize, and monitor production execution, ensuring compliance with manufacturing orders and established deadlines. * Ensure that **food quality and safety standards** are followed according to internal policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations (ANVISA, MAPA, ISO, GMP, HACCP). * Supervise the team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and promoting employee development. * Monitor performance indicators (productivity, yield, waste, absenteeism, rework) and propose action plans for improvement. * Support maintaining discipline, organizational climate, and team integration. * Conduct daily alignment meetings and ensure clear communication between shifts, support areas, and management. * Monitor the operation of machines and equipment, reporting failures and requesting maintenance when necessary. * Maintain organization and cleanliness in the production area (5S), promoting good manufacturing practices. * Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations, PPE usage, and accident prevention. * Support the implementation of new processes, continuous improvement projects, and operational training. **Technical Skills (Required and Desired)** **Required:** * Knowledge of **food industry production processes**. * Understanding of **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food quality**. * Ability to read and interpret production orders and reports. * Ability to complete and analyze process controls. * Leadership of operational teams. **Desired:** * Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or PDCA**. * Basic knowledge of preventive equipment maintenance. * Basic computer skills (Excel, shop floor systems/ERP). * Experience in internal and external audits. **Behavioral Competencies (Required)** * Leadership and ability to motivate people. * Clear and assertive communication. * Ability to make quick and effective decisions. * Organization and focus on results. * Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts. * Discipline, commitment, and ownership mindset. **Required Training** * Occupational Safety and PPE Usage. * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP. * Leadership and team management. * Production indicators and visual management. * Quality tools and continuous improvement (5S, PDCA). * Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the area. **Education** * **Minimum:** Completed or ongoing higher education. * **Desired:** Technician or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Production, Production Engineering, or related fields. **Experience** * **Minimum:** 2 years in an industrial environment, at least 1 year in leadership roles. * **Desired:** Previous experience in the food industry with direct team leadership.
