Forklift Operator

Description

Prepare and handle cargo movement. Organize cargo by interpreting packaging symbols, identifying cargo characteristics for transportation and storage, and separating non-conforming cargo. Perform scheduled maintenance on cargo-handling equipment. Work in compliance with safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards. Interpret work orders; Visually inspect cargo loading and unloading operations; Schedule sequential cargo movement; Separate equipment accessories from the equipment Use equipment accessories according to cargo type; Load cargo as scheduled; Load equipment according to its capacity; Monitor equipment operating conditions during operation; Control equipment operating speed and direction; Unload scheduled items. Maintain a hygienic work environment; Remove obstacles from the workplace; Inspect cargo storage locations; Delimit areas designated for cargo movement. Maintain and preserve equipment; Conduct basic inspections to ensure proper equipment operation; Test equipment functionality; Identify malfunctions and damages; Request maintenance; Use individual or collective protective equipment; Identify unsafe conditions and report them upon discovery; Handle cargo in accordance with specific safety regulations.
