Job Summary: Amazon is seeking an Occupational Safety Technician to develop programs, implement health and safety policies, evaluate PPE, and coordinate preventive actions. Key Highlights: 1. If you fit this description, Amazon is looking for an Occupational Safety Technician. The main responsibilities of the Occupational Safety Technician role include: * Develop training programs and verify compliance with safety rules and procedures in implementing preventive measures; * Prepare, implement, and provide guidance on occupational health and safety (OHS) activities and policies; * Evaluate PPE requests; * Monitor on-site medical care; * Coordinate the renewal of ergonomic, hazardousness, and unhealthiness reports, PPRA, and PCMSO; * Support environmental activities by advising on treatment and disposal of generated waste and raising worker awareness regarding the importance of these actions; * Coordinate unit-level fire brigade training and monitor expiration dates and maintenance of firefighting equipment; * Collect and analyze statistics on workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses, examining causes and severity to adopt preventive measures; * Coordinate issuance of CAT (Work Accident Communication) and investigation of workplace accidents and near-miss incidents. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Technical degree in a related field; * Proficiency in Excel. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * English Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
