**Mid-Level Backend Developer** ======================================= TOTVS | Remote Job Description We are looking for a Backend Analyst II focused on autonomy and technical quality. You will be responsible for building scalable solutions, ensuring code integrity through testing, and supporting the technical growth of less experienced developers—directly contributing to highly complex products such as Payroll and Budget Planning systems. Responsibilities and Duties Technical Development: Independently develop medium- and high-complexity features using best coding practices and design patterns. Architecture: Understand and actively contribute to backend architecture, ensuring proper integration among components and overall software ecosystem health. Quality and Testing: Create and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) to guarantee expected behavior of deliverables. Documentation and Versioning: Keep technical documentation up to date and manage version control following the team’s Git workflow. Collaboration: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, software design discussions, and business solution definition with the team. Mentoring: Guide less experienced developers, assist in resolving technical questions, and promote best practices. Requirements Analysis: Refine technical and functional requirements jointly with business areas and clients. Requirements and Qualifications **Education: Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.** **Languages: Intermediate/advanced proficiency in (C# / .NET / .NET Core).** **Web Services: Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.** **Testing: Solid knowledge of Unit Testing.** **Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases.** **Methodologies: Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).** Desired Qualifications Full-Stack Vision: Basic understanding of frontend integration (especially TypeScript frameworks such as Angular). Cloud & SaaS: Knowledge of software architecture for cloud environments and SaaS models. Business Domain Knowledge: Prior experience with Payroll or Budget Planning systems.
