Learn more about **ED** by visiting our *Careers Page*: We are hiring a **Mid-Level Backend Developer \[.NET Core]** to join the ED team! **REMOTE** **Responsibilities and Duties** Develop and evolve RESTful APIs using .NET Core, ensuring quality, performance, and security standards. Integrate systems and services, ensuring efficient and reliable communication across different platforms. Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing applications, pursuing continuous improvements in performance and scalability. Participate in the technical design of backend solutions and support architectural decisions alongside the technical team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product, and project management) to deliver complete solutions. Write and maintain technical documentation for APIs, workflows, and integrations. Implement automated tests (unit and integration) to ensure software quality and stability. Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective, and daily meetings). **Requirements and Qualifications** What enhances your chances: Experience with microservices-based architecture. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices. Knowledge or practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience with high-availability systems or large-volume transaction systems. Prior experience in corporate integration projects involving multiple systems. **Must-Have:** Solid backend development experience using .NET Core (.NET 6+ preferred). Proficiency in C# applied to API and service development. Experience designing, maintaining, and versioning RESTful APIs. Experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server. Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows. Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps. Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous processing (e.g., MassTransit or similar tools). Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Application Insights, Grafana, or similar).
