Bootloader and Linux installer development **Summary:** **Junior Development Analyst –** A Linux application developer who will work on graphical interface, kernel, modules, bootloader, and installer development. **Job Responsibilities:** * Develop Linux applications using the C/C++ programming language; * Package Linux applications; * Customize Gnome and KDE graphical interfaces used in Linux; * Develop kernel modules, customize existing kernel modules, and improve the kernel; * Develop and customize Linux distribution bootloaders and installers; * Write shell scripts; * Participate in designing unit, integration, and automated tests. **Basic Job Requirements:** Knowledge of Linux operating system architecture. Proficiency in the C/C++ programming language. Good software testing practices. Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Exact Sciences (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics), Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines. **Desirable Qualifications:** Familiarity with Debian Linux distribution. Knowledge of Linux kernel. Proficiency in shell scripting. GIT version control tool. Agile methodology. Perl programming language.
