Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer to be responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirement gathering and analysis as inputs. Key Highlights: 1. Junior Programmer for programming, testing, and maintenance 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 3. Experience with georeferenced databases (PostGIS) Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registration (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer to be responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirement gathering and analysis conducted by systems analysts as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Familiarity with APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries.
