Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for computer program development, testing, and maintenance, based on requirements gathering and analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Computer program development, testing, and maintenance 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3. Experience with georeferenced databases and GeoServer/ArcGIS APIs Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registration (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for computer program development, testing, and maintenance, using system analysts’ requirement specifications and analyses as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server configuration and usage; Familiarity with APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries.
