Job Summary: Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirement gathering and system analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with georeferenced databases (PostGIS) 2. Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server 3. Advanced knowledge of React or React Native Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multifunctional Technical Registers (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer to be responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, supported by requirement gathering and analyses performed by systems analysts. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server tools; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with the OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to periodically acquire new knowledge.
