Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, self-managed High-Platform Developer to join an agile development team at a public financial institution, working on analysis, design, programming, and testing. This is one of the largest public financial institutions in the country, with strong nationwide presence and strategic involvement in economic and social development. In addition to offering comprehensive banking products, it plays an essential role in public policies, supporting housing programs, financial inclusion initiatives, and projects aimed at population welfare. **Responsibilities and Duties** **DUTY** Join the development team and take ownership of work items for development during each Sprint. Perform development-related activities such as analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements handling. Manage your own workload, promptly signaling delays or other impediments to the team. **SKILLS** Proactivity; ability to work collaboratively in teams; self-management and decision-making capability; communication skills (ability to express oneself orally and in writing with precision and clarity, and to easily understand written and spoken messages); strong investigative and complex problem-solving abilities; abstraction capability; ability to understand information systems functionality through experimentation/observation. **KNOWLEDGE/ACTIVITIES** a) Principles and practices of agile software development, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban; b) Analysis of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements; c) Familiarity with tools used for COBOL testing and test automation; d) Programming skills in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or higher; e) Knowledge of IBM platform (z/OS, DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO, MainView, Strobe, Control-M); f) Experience working as an analyst on Mainframe platforms; g) Knowledge of relational database modeling and database performance analysis; h) Knowledge of VSAM data files; i) Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA); j) Knowledge of mainframe application code quality and performance analysis; k) Experience using CICS interfaces, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series; l) Software testing: unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance/user story, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, accessibility. Functional, unit, and load test automation using software tools; m) Concepts of source-code version control and usage of related tools; n) Knowledge and experience in Configuration and Change Management discipline; o) Design patterns and good programming practices; p) Experience using IBM tools (z/OS, DB2, RDZ, Omegamom, CICS IA, MainView), Eccox (QC-Cobol and QC-DB2), Computer Associates (CA SCM and CA GEN), Compuware (Abend-Aid, Xpediter, File-Aid and Strobe), BMC (Control-M), or equivalent tools; q) System integration: Messaging, JMS, Web services, Service Bus (WebSphere Message Broker), REST, EJB 3; **Additional Information** 100% remote position with CLT employment contract **Join Certsys and Be Part of the Public Sector’s Digital Transformation!** Are you passionate about technology and innovation, and do you believe true digital transformation begins with cultural change?
