If you seek challenges and an inclusive, diverse, and stimulating environment, this is the perfect opportunity to take off in your career! **Responsibilities and Duties** **The challenges awaiting you at your next destination are:** * Lead the development and validation of technical procedures and calculations related to aircraft weight and balance rules, cargo and live animal transport policies, contingency flight paths, and performance simulations, with autonomy to make decisions that directly impact flight operations—always prioritizing safety and efficiency. * Define and implement operational procedures, regulations, and safety controls within Flight Operations Engineering, ensuring compliance with national and international requirements, including IOSA and ANAC guidelines. * Manage project execution and management methodology within the Flight Operations Engineering department, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and resources, promoting continuous improvement in operational processes and optimizing company systems. * Represent the department at events, forums, and technical committees, serving as the authority for critical decisions regarding operational safety, system development, and implementation of technological and process improvements. * Make highly complex technical decisions. * Develop and validate technical rules for transporting live animals, ensuring compliance with IATA safety standards. * Develop and validate technical cargo transport rules, including Seat Container configurations, palletized cargo, loading/unloading procedures, and freighter operations. * Develop and validate pavement–aircraft interaction models. * Develop and validate takeoff and landing performance. * Ensure the company’s operational safety and efficiency by developing and validating technical procedures for aircraft weight and balance, performance optimization, and cargo and passenger transport, ensuring all processes align with international standards and regulations. * Calculate and optimize landing performance, including missed approach climb, wind tables, and STAR (Standard Terminal Arrival Route) performance analysis. * Develop new descent procedures to improve punctuality, analyze descent performance documentation, and conduct simulations. * Develop models for monitoring aircraft degradation and calculate degradation, using such data for analysis and reporting. * Adjust the operational envelope in weight and balance systems according to operational and regulatory requirements. * Develop and validate performance degradation monitoring models and calculate potential performance losses throughout flight. * Develop aircraft weight and balance rules and policies, including LOPA calculations, “tail tipping” analysis, and evaluation of maximum certification weights. * Develop and validate aircraft weight and balance rules under various operational conditions, including last-minute changes, standard and special passenger weights, and carry-on baggage. * Calculate contingency takeoff trajectories (EOSID), including simulations to optimize safety and efficiency. * Optimize aircraft performance by developing and validating takeoff, climb, landing, and contingency performance models, ensuring flight operations with maximum efficiency and safety. * Maximize operational efficiency by pursuing process automation and reviewing internal procedures to optimize workflows and enhance reliability of data provided to operations. * Integrate new technologies and data analytics tools to enable continuous improvement in the company’s operational systems’ performance. * Anticipate and mitigate operational impacts. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Must-haves in your baggage:** * Experience as a Flight Operations Engineer; * Completed undergraduate degree in Engineering; * Active CREA registration; * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); * Advanced English proficiency. **Nice-to-haves (bonus points):** * Prior experience in Part 121 operations and/or aircraft performance; * Knowledge/experience in programming; * Private pilot license; * Knowledge/experience in project management. * **Additional Information** **Here, you fly higher with the Travel Benefit**, which allows you to issue domestic and international airline tickets at special discounted rates for yourself, family members, and friends. **And we can’t forget the Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Group life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Food allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Gympass or Totalpass; * Partnership club with hundreds of affiliated companies; * Birthday day off; * Profit-sharing program (PLR). **Important Information:** * Work Location: Headquarters – Granja Julieta. * Work Model: Hybrid 4x1 (Monday–Thursday – In-office / Friday – Remote). **If you identify with our Way, apply now and join the Eagles Team!
