**Senior Engineer for Standards and Specifications**
**CPFL Paulista**

**Prerequisites:**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
* Active CREA registration;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
* Knowledge of ANEEL and ONS regulations and standards;
* Understanding of power quality and the impacts of distributed generation on distribution systems;
* Familiarity with electrical system simulation tools (Cyme, Sinapgrid, OpenDSS, ATP, etc.);
* Postgraduate degree, Master's, or Ph.D. is desirable;
* Programming tool knowledge (Python and database analysis) is desirable;
* Project management experience is desirable;
* Intermediate English proficiency is desirable.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities:**
* Research and apply new technologies, concepts, and technical criteria applicable to distribution networks, distribution lines, and substations, ensuring continuous improvement of technical standards with a focus on safety and efficiency—particularly regarding power quality and distributed generation;
* Develop, review, and maintain up-to-date standards, technical specifications, and assembly guidelines, ensuring alignment with legislation and engineering trends;
* Propose, lead, and implement medium-complexity technical projects to promote standardization and innovation in the construction and maintenance of electrical networks—especially concerning power quality and distributed generation;
* Conduct power quality impact studies for new connections of distribution lines and substations to the National Interconnected System (SIN), in accordance with current regulations issued by the National Electric System Operator (ONS);
* Produce technical/scientific papers and reports related to assigned responsibilities, particularly focusing on power quality and distributed generation applied to the electricity distribution system;
* Issue technical opinions based on regulatory analysis, prior experience, and industry benchmarking—especially concerning power quality and distributed generation;
* Serve as internal technical reference for matters related to standards, specifications, and guidelines, supporting decision-making across partner departments;
* Assess impacts and propose improvements to processes throughout the lifecycle of electrical assets, ensuring technical quality and regulatory compliance;
* Participate in technical forums, internal committees, and industry events, sharing knowledge and proposing updates aligned with best practices;
* Collaborate with Research and Development initiatives, identifying opportunities for practical application and providing technical input for new project formulation;
* Plan and deliver specialized technical training to promote dissemination of regulatory knowledge and keep operational teams updated.
