Focus on efficiency, security, and monitoring of solutions We seek a Senior Software Engineer dedicated to the accounting area of a financial-sector client. The focus is on delivering robust, high-performance technological solutions, developed collaboratively with other professionals in the field. The candidate is expected to propose technical alternatives that meet strategic goals efficiently, securely, and with monitoring capability. Work closely with technical and business teams to identify opportunities and implement solutions aligned with team objectives, overseeing the entire process to ensure expected outcomes. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design technical solutions—including architecture, modeling, and code design—with emphasis on value addition and alignment with company objectives. * Share knowledge with internal and external communities, staying continuously updated on industry trends and best practices, thereby contributing to market brand strengthening. * Support the technical growth of less-experienced professionals, fostering a highly skilled team. * Diagnose and apply improvements to existing codebase and architecture. * Deliver and review code with tests, ensuring delivery quality, resolving obstacles that may affect deadlines, and adjusting expectations as needed. * Ensure implementation of monitoring tools for backend functionalities and processes, guaranteeing application stability. * Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems, supporting interface integration and optimizing performance of existing systems, with a focus on performance. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, or related fields. * Solid knowledge of Java and Kotlin. * Experience with distributed systems, especially monolithic and microservices-based architectures. * Familiarity with software quality practices such as Unit Testing, TDD, and BDD. * Experience with cloud computing, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Proficiency in DevOps practices, including Git, Pull Requests, release processes, deployment, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. * Proven track record in critical projects requiring high performance. * Advanced knowledge of various programming paradigms: structured, object-oriented, and functional. * Proficiency with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases. * Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. * Preferred: prior involvement in defining or developing software architectures, demonstrating technical vision beyond coding—understanding applied decisions and methods.
