Interested in a career that delivers greater returns? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and duties** * **Design and maintain end-to-end observability** (logs, metrics, traces) using **Grafana and Prometheus**, including dashboards and alerts. * **Manage and evolve alerts** (thresholds, rules, correlation) and implement **runbooks** for standardized responses. * **Respond to incidents** (triage, diagnosis, mitigation, communication) and lead **postmortems** with structural actions to reduce **MTTR** and recurrence. * **Advanced troubleshooting** in production (log analysis, profiling, distributed traces, p99, saturation/latency/errors) and **tuning** of Unix OS and JVM. * **Capacity & performance management** (sizing, demand forecasting, performance testing), with focus on **cost-effectiveness**. * **Administer and optimize** AWS services: **EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, ACM, IAM.** * **Orchestration** with **Kubernetes/EKS/ECS**: policies, quotas, requests/limits, autoscaling (HPA/VPA), **ASG**, and **workload observability**. * **Edge and delivery**: **CloudFront** (caching, TTL, compression) and integrations with **WAF**. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields. * Experience monitoring and observing complex environments using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus. * Experience with troubleshooting (ability to inspect systems and issues). * Experience with networking (DNS, HTTP, routing, TCP/IP, Firewall, WAF). * Experience with Unix operating systems: environment troubleshooting, tuning, and operational/administrative tools. * Experience with system architecture: high availability, resilience, security, cost-effectiveness, and hybrid environments. * Experience with the Internet: protocols and key technologies. * Experience with security: cryptography, LGPD, and knowledge of company processes and standards. * Experience with Java: configuration and administration of Java environments and core JVM tools. **Additional information** **To stand out in this role, it would be great if you also have**: * Knowledge of multicloud and datacenter environments. * Knowledge of AWS: S3, EKS, ASG, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, EC2, VPC, ECS, ACM, and IAM. * Knowledge of container administration (Docker and Kubernetes). * Knowledge of IaC: techniques and proficiency in managing automated environments (Ansible, Terraform). * Knowledge of software engineering and development/programming. * Knowledge of agile methodologies and optimized workflows.
