Job Summary: Design, implement, and maintain backend applications using Java and Python, with a focus on microservices, AWS, and DevOps practices. Key Highlights: 1. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture **What We’re Looking For:** A mid-to-senior level professional experienced in **(Java/Python/AWS).** **Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Python; * Develop and consume REST APIs following best practices for design, security, and scalability; * Build and sustain microservice-based and distributed applications, ensuring high availability and low latency; * Integrate and manage message flows using Kafka, SQS, and SNS; * Build and manage applications on AWS Cloud (RDS MySQL, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS Fargate, ElasticCache Redis, API Gateway, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, KMS, etc.); * Implement secure and optimized solutions for large-scale data processing; * Work with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestrating distributed environments; * Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability; * Contribute to quality assurance and test coverage best practices; * Configure, monitor, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild); * Automate integration, testing, and continuous delivery processes; * Collaborate within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar); * Promote a DevOps culture focused on automation and continuous integration; * Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance, proposing efficiency improvements and complexity reduction; * Monitor application performance and proactively implement enhancements. **Requirements:** * Experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and Python; * Solid knowledge of REST APIs and microservice architecture; * Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS); * Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture; * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; * Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB); * Practical experience with unit testing and code quality best practices; * Experience with CI/CD and pipeline automation; * Familiarity with agile methodologies. **Nice-to-Haves:** * Experience with highly scalable and distributed architectures; * Advanced knowledge of application and cloud security; * Experience with observability and monitoring (logs, metrics, tracing); * Experience in a mature DevOps culture; * Experience optimizing performance and handling high-load systems; * AWS or other cloud-related certifications. **Behavioral Profile:** We are looking for someone who: * Enjoys working in teams and is **collaborative** in their responsibilities; * Has the **courage** to challenge themselves and go beyond, embracing new growth opportunities; * Transforms ideas into **creative solutions** and pursues quality in all daily tasks; * Possesses strong **problem-solving skills**; * Is skilled and comfortable working independently and **managing their own time**; * Is interested in tackling technologically **adversarial and innovative** situations.
