Job Summary: We are looking for a professional to define best development practices, program, code, and test backend systems, implement complex functionalities, and propose technological improvements. Opportunity to work with diverse technologies **What we are looking for?** **Main Responsibilities:** Define best development practices; Program, code, and test systems in the specified language, transitioning across backend development projects; Implement complex functionalities; Propose technological improvements to systems. Monitor adherence to best practices in system development. Validate the existing test coverage in projects; Validate new application features; Monitor application system performance; Propose technological improvements to systems; Anticipate opportunities and issues proactively, act swiftly and effectively, and develop preventive solutions; Support junior developers and contribute to project decision-making; Perform system maintenance, implement necessary changes, and meet user requirements; Develop assembly, debugging, and testing activities for programs, and perform maintenance on already-developed programs. **Requirements:** * Proven experience in cloud environments — Azure, AWS, or GCP; * Experience developing with Node.js (JavaScript; TypeScript is preferred); * Knowledge of Java programming; * Experience working with asynchronous tools and message brokers, e.g., Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ; * Experience with testing (unit and integration) and documentation of REST APIs and Async APIs; * Experience developing microservices; * Solid knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA); * Knowledge of implementing tracing and logging for services and microservices; * Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and Databricks; * Experience working with containers; * Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and tools; * Knowledge of package management tools: NPM / Yarn; * Experience working in Agile methodologies (SCRUM & Kanban); * Experience with source code versioning tools; * Experience handing over applications to support and continuous improvement teams **Nice-to-Haves:** * Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Batch frameworks; * Development experience with Scala, Python, JavaScript; * Kubernetes; * Understanding of various protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, AMQP, TCP, TLS; * Experience supporting production applications, monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis; * Ability to analyze and model databases; * Experience in initiatives related to LGPD, GDPR, and information security; * Familiarity with financial environments and/or Acquirers/Payment Processors; * Knowledge of SaaS and DaaS; * Knowledge of point-to-point file transfer tools (e.g., B2B and Connect:Direct); * Knowledge of Data Integration Platforms. **Work Location:** This is an Anywhere Office position — you will work 100% remotely. **Why build your career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic and challenging environment where professionals have the opportunity to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring forward new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil — and why not, the world?
