Work Location: Atibaia/SP Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Work Modality: On-site *Internal employees interested in this opportunity must express their interest directly to the Human Resources department.* **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain operational firmware; * Write, test, and optimize code developed for embedded applications and systems; * Implement new features, considering the steps of designing and integrating new features according to project requirements; * Fix bugs and improve firmware performance. Identify and resolve issues in the code to ensure efficiency and stability; * Work with APIs to integrate external systems and embedded software; * Collaborate with the team by participating in meetings, code reviews, and contributing to technical decisions on projects; * Ensure security and best practices by applying security principles and following the company’s development standards; * Automate processes by creating scripts and tools to optimize workflows; * Document the project to maintain clear records of code, architecture, and technical decisions; * Design, implement, and optimize firmware for memory controllers, such as UFS and uMCP, and microcontrollers in general; * Write code in programming languages such as C/C\+\+ for embedded systems; * Implement and maintain communication protocols between the memory controller and the host system; * Perform functional testing and firmware validation; * Use tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes for debugging; * Identify and fix bugs, ensuring firmware stability and performance; * Master software version control; * Improve read/write performance of memory devices; * Reduce latencies and optimize power consumption of controllers; * Interact with customers and suppliers; * Gather requirements and implement customized solutions; * Conduct technical exchanges with customers to ensure efficient product integration; * Ensure compatibility between firmware and electronic circuits; * Analyze electrical schematics and technical documentation of components; * Maintain detailed documentation of code, protocols, and development processes; Update firmware according to new versions of storage standards. * **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering (Computer, Software, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Control and Automation), Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields; * Experience in embedded software development; * Experience in firmware customization; * Knowledge of semiconductor devices is desirable; * Advanced English proficiency is desirable (flexible). **Skills/Technologies:** * Microsoft .NET, C\#, C/C\+\+, Visual Studio * RTOS * Version Control Software (GIT) * Linux Operating System * Assembly programming language * Object-oriented programming LabVIEW knowledge is desirable * **Additional Information** **Benefits:** Bradesco National Health Insurance for the employee and their legal dependents; Odontoprev National Dental Insurance for the employee and their legal dependents; Charter Transportation (Atibaia, Bragança Paulista, Jarinu, Campo Limpo, Jundiaí, Itatiba, and Campinas) or fuel/toll allowance (for cities not covered by charter transportation); On-site parking; On-site meals; Life insurance; Private pension plan; PLR (Profit and Results Sharing); Pharmacy benefit program; Social, psychological, financial, and legal assistance program; Workplace gymnastics; Edupass — A robust learning platform offering up to 80% discount on various courses, extendable to dependents; Childcare allowance; Physiotherapy; Extended maternity/paternity leave; Nursing room; Immunization campaign.
