Backend Developer (Node.js)

Job Summary: Work on the backend development of a financial broker, responsible for the system's critical logic, including balance management, deposits, withdrawals, and APIs, following a defined architecture. Key Highlights: 1. Develop and maintain backend APIs in Node.js (preferably NestJS) 2. Implement internal wallet logic and financial ledger 3. Ensure data consistency and financial integrity Job Objective Work on the backend development of a **financial broker**, being responsible for the **system's critical logic**, including balance management, deposits, withdrawals, financial events, and APIs, following an already-defined architecture. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain backend APIs in **Node.js** (preferably **NestJS**). * Implement **internal wallet** and **financial ledger** logic. * Develop workflows for: * deposits (pending → confirmed) * withdrawals (requested → approved → paid) * Ensure data consistency and financial integrity. * Implement auditable logs and events. * Integrate payment providers (PSP / crypto). * Collaborate with Tech Lead and Frontend teams following clear technical specifications. * Write clean, organized, and well-documented code. Technical Requirements (Mandatory) * 3+ years of experience with **Node.js**. * Practical experience with **NestJS**. * Solid knowledge of **PostgreSQL** (relational modeling). * Experience with REST APIs. * Good understanding of states, transactions, and data consistency. * Proficiency with Git (branches, PRs). * Experience working on systems handling sensitive or financial data. ➕ Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory) * Prior experience in **fintech, wallet, payments, or crypto**. * Event-driven architecture. * Redis. * Basic Docker. * Automated testing.
