Then this opportunity is for you!** We are looking for a **Data Scientist \- Machine Learning Specialist Staff** to work with a global technology client present in multiple countries, delivering high-traffic and high-impact digital products. **Responsibilities and Duties** **In your day-to-day work, you will encounter the following activities:** Map, plan, and execute enhancements and new requirements related to data and machine learning; Develop end\-to\-end data science solutions, from data exploration and preparation through model training and evaluation; Conduct technical and business discovery to understand problems and propose data-driven solutions; Structure, clean, and sanitize data for analysis and model training; Develop data pipelines and ETLs using Python and SQL; Build and evaluate machine learning models applied to search, ranking, and recommendation; Work with embeddings and data representation techniques; Perform consistent quantitative analyses and communicate results clearly; Document experiments, hypotheses, models, and results; Collaborate with engineering and product teams to evolve the search platform; Independently develop solution prototypes and experiments. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Check below what you’ll need to succeed in this opportunity!** **REQUIRED SKILLS** * Solid experience with Python and SQL; * Experience with Pandas (Python Data Analysis Library); * Experience with data analysis and numerical modeling; * Knowledge of machine learning applied to ranking, recommendation, or classification; * Experience in data structuring, sanitization, and preparation; * Experience in training and evaluating machine learning models; * Knowledge of embeddings and vector representations of data; * Experience building ETLs and data pipelines; * Ability to conduct comprehensive quantitative analyses—from problem definition through result presentation; * Strong communication skills to explain insights to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds; * Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams; * Ability to independently build prototypes and run experiments without direct dependence on software engineers. **PREFERRED SKILLS** * Experience in applied machine learning research; * Experience in search, recommendation, or ranking systems; * Experience in data engineering or software development; * Experience building data- and machine learning-based products; * Experience with experimentation platforms and analytical notebooks. **Additional Information** **Deliver IT will leave its mark on this project and invites you to join this journey!** We foster a light, relaxed, collaborative, and diverse culture, along with an enriching environment full of expert colleagues across various domains and many challenges.
