We are looking for a talent to join the **Systems Development\-BI** team within the **Technology** Directorate — the area responsible for system development across the HDI Group. **Responsibilities and duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Serving as a **Data Scientist** at the Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE) within the IT department, **leading data and AI initiatives focused on analytical models, scalability, governance, and AI best practices**; * Developing, operationalizing, and maintaining advanced analytical solutions — promoting technical excellence, method standardization, and dissemination of best practices across squads and business areas; * Building predictive and prescriptive models for business areas: pricing, underwriting, fraud prevention, claims, sales, churn, propensity, segmentation, risk, and customer behavior; * Developing solutions using classical ML, Deep Learning, and GenAI; * Conducting experimentation, statistical validation, and continuous model monitoring — assessing model accuracy and stability; * Implementing AI policies: explainability, auditability, bias mitigation, traceability, and model governance; * Producing technical documentation and utilizing data governance artifacts; * Defining technical standards and best practices for data science; * Supporting product squads as a specialized technical reference; * Participating in the evolution of the analytical architecture; * Promoting knowledge sharing; * Collaborating with data engineering and data architecture teams on: model deployment, ML pipelines, automation, monitoring, and versioning. **Requirements and qualifications** **Basic requirements include:** * Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields (mandatory); * Postgraduate degree in Data Science (preferred); * Experience in applied Data Science within highly regulated markets and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP — mandatory); * Experience with MLOps — Machine Learning Operations (preferred); * Proficiency in Python, SQL, ML libraries (Scikit\-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, and PyTorch), GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and NLP (preferred); * Knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, feature engineering, model validation, performance metrics, data governance, and responsible AI (preferred). **Additional information** Our daily schedule offers flexible hours.
