The professional will join our Customers and Technology team, responsible for developing data-based solutions to drive corporate innovation and efficiency, applying data modeling—including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines—and Data Lakes to ensure a single data foundation for all of Sabesp, enabling solutions aligned with strategic goals while ensuring scalability and performance of the company’s data infrastructure. **About the Company** Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo) is responsible for water supply and sewage collection and treatment across 377 municipalities in São Paulo state and serves 28 million people. **It is one of the largest sanitation companies in the world and the largest in Brazil.** The Company will advance five decades in five years, expanding access to drinking water and basic sanitation for millions of people. With infrastructure prepared to support and empower our teams, the Company reinforces its commitment to this transformation journey. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Design and implement data architecture solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines. * Translate business requirements into technical requirements. * Define standards and structures for data collection, storage, retrieval, and transfer. * Define Data Lake and data platform architectures to support advanced analytics and AI. * Ensure integration of diverse data sources, including IoT, SCADA, operational systems, and corporate systems. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications:** **Academic Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. * Postgraduate degree/Specialization in Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or related fields. **Required Skills:** * Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. * Knowledge of integration tools: APIs, microservices, Kafka. * Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, Node.js. * Advanced knowledge of Lakehouse architecture, preferably Databricks. * Knowledge of Medallion Architecture. **Professional Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in data architecture, big data, and ETL processes. * Experience in cloud-based data architecture: AWS, Azure, or GCP. **Required Behavioral Competencies:** * Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively in group settings. * Analytical, organized profile with strong communication skills to interact across diverse teams. * Problem-solving abilities. * Commitment to quality. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Familiarity with DevOps tools. * FINOPs culture. * Experience in utility companies. * Experience managing and processing field sensor and SCADA system data. * Ability to develop and implement automated tests to ensure data quality. **Additional Information** **Benefits Offered:** Medical Assistance Private Health Insurance Meal Voucher (VR) and Food Voucher (VA) Transportation Voucher Christmas Basket Birthday Day Off Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave Childcare Assistance for Mothers and Fathers Wellhub Agreement (Gympass) Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) The new Sabesp is much more than a sanitation company.
