Collaborate in understanding customer requirements and defining objectives Responsible for developing customized technical solutions under supervision, leading the project team in creating customized products or systems, ensuring design integrity, compliance with customer requirements, and delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions aligned with the company's strategic objectives. **Education:** * Completed technical education * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields **Experience:** * 1 year of experience in this role, preferably in customized projects or high-complexity engineering projects **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalents) * Familiarity with engineering principles, technical standards, and industry regulations * Continuous improvement methodologies and project management * Intermediate-level Office suite proficiency **Observable Competencies and Areas for Development** * Critical analysis * Communication * Organization and planning * Teamwork * Systems thinking * Collaborate with the team to understand customer requirements and define project objectives. * Conduct preliminary research and analyses to map and understand customer needs and identify suitable technical solutions. * Assist in conceiving and developing sketches, drawings, and preliminary models using activity-specific software. * Participate in team meetings to review and discuss design concepts, providing insights and suggestions for improvement. * Work with engineers to develop detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. * Contribute to selecting appropriate materials, components, and suppliers for project implementation. * Perform basic technical and economic feasibility analyses to ensure project suitability and viability. * Assist in preparing prototypes and samples for concept testing and validation. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all design activities and project-related documentation. * Collaborate with other teams, such as production and quality control, to ensure proper integration of design into manufacturing processes. * Prepare procurement requests for departmental supplies based on operational needs and submit them for approval according to established authority levels. * Support indicator management to gather information serving as tools for improvement and managerial decision-making. * Be accountable for the quality, reliability, confidentiality, and performance of resources, services, and information generated by tasks under one's responsibility. * Support immediate leadership on matters inherent to one's area of expertise, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions to be taken. * Participate in internal and external inspections and audits, providing documentation and information as requested by inspectors and auditors. * Stay updated on technological advancements relevant to one's field of expertise to support professional development, information sharing, and suggestions for improvements aimed at maximizing results. * Ensure proper maintenance of assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary. * Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, performing activities in accordance with company policies. * Perform other related duties as directed by immediate leadership.
