Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and security standards. Translate functional requirements and user stories into high-quality technical solutions. Manage resources in versioned repositories (code, scripts, configurations). Perform VM migrations (VMware OpenShift Virtualization / Cloud) Administer production Linux RHEL environments Operate and maintain virtualization clusters Work with Docker/Podman and Kubernetes Perform medium-complexity troubleshooting Support architecture definition and best practices Collaborate closely with application, security, and network teams **Qualifications** Virtualization VMware vSphere / vSAN (or equivalents) HA, DRS, storage policies Backup, snapshots, replication Lift-and-shift and replatforming strategies Kubernetes Practical use of Kubernetes or OpenShift Concepts of: Services, Ingress Persistent Volumes Basic RBAC Linux Advanced RHEL administration Performance, tuning, and troubleshooting Basic automation scripts Desirable: Certifications in VMware, Red Hat, or related technologies. Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies Completed undergraduate degree Practical experience in VM migration Proficiency in Red Hat Linux Experience with containers Practical knowledge of Kubernetes Experience in production and mission-critical environments OpenShift Container Platform Basic Ansible
