Job Summary: Sicredi is seeking a Java and Spring Boot Backend Developer to work within multidisciplinary tribes, developing robust and scalable solutions while ensuring quality and collaboration. Here, we work in **multidisciplinary tribes**, bringing together diverse talents to create innovative, secure, and relevant solutions for our members. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop robust and scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot * Participate across the full software lifecycle—from conception to production deployment * Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines to ensure automation and continuous quality * Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability * Integrate and manage relational databases, as well as work with Kafka and Kafka Connect * Work with JPA/Hibernate and Kubernetes for application orchestration * Ensure observability through metrics, logs, and monitoring * Apply best practices for resilience, fault tolerance, and high availability * Collaborate with other teams to promote technical alignment and clear communication * Propose innovative solutions to technical and business challenges * Document architectures and technical decisions * Support the technical development of other engineers * Seek continuous feedback and act collaboratively and proactively **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid backend development experience * Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot * Hands-on experience with relational databases * Consistent practice in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests * Knowledge of Kafka / Kafka Connectors * Experience with Maven and/or Gradle * Experience working with JPA / Hibernate * Experience with Kubernetes * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset * Ability to make technical decisions considering overall impact **Additional Information** At **Sicredi**, you will enjoy: 14th and 15th fixed salaries; Profit-sharing program (based on seniority); Health and dental plans with no co-payment; Well-being programs via Wellhub (formerly Gympass), Nutrition, Psychology, Occupational Health, Massage, Running Group, and local gym; Meal and Food Allowance—with flexible % allocation between VA/VR cards and no co-payment; Extended maternity and paternity leave; Childcare or babysitter allowance for children up to 6 years and 11 months; Support for children with disabilities—no age limit; Life insurance; Private pension plan covering up to 7% of salary; Training platform—Sicredi Aprende—with diverse courses; 40-hour weekly workload—using a time-banking system; Remote work allowance (except for fully on-site positions). **Nice to meet you—we are Sicredi.** Our journey began over 120 years ago as Brazil’s first cooperative financial institution.
