**Job Mission** Your mission will be to ensure the development and evolution of high-performance software and applications on the world's largest reputation platform. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that engineering processes are accurate, efficient, and achieve defined objectives—always aiming to meet the needs of our internal and external customers with robust technological solutions. **Your Responsibilities** * **Production-Ready Code:** Consistently write clean, easily understandable code for other developers, highly testable, and natively handling edge cases and error scenarios. * **Testing Culture:** Master and apply the testing pyramid daily, writing unit and higher-level tests, ensuring coverage for both "happy paths" and edge cases. * **Living Documentation:** Prioritize writing self-documenting code and know precisely when and where to insert strategic comments in the system. * **Debugging and Diagnosis:** Use systematic debugging methodologies to diagnose and resolve local issues in microservices and act to resolve complex cross-service incidents. **Prerequisites:** * **Backend Java Proficiency:** Solid hands-on experience with the Java ecosystem, using modern frameworks such as **Spring Boot** or **Quarkus**. * **Data Persistence:** Strong practical experience with **Hibernate** and **JPA**, plus experience with relational databases (**MySQL** or **PostgreSQL**). * **Software Architecture:** Conceptual and practical mastery of architectural patterns such as **MVC**, **Hexagonal Architecture**, and **DDD (Domain-Driven Design)**. * **Infrastructure and Cloud:** Practical knowledge of containerized environments with **Kubernetes**, and experience with cloud providers (**GCP**, AWS, or similar). * **Continuous Evolution:** A mindset of constant learning and active interest in developing skills in new programming languages, with a focus on **GoLang**. **Nice-to-Haves** * Prior knowledge or recent hands-on experience with **GoLang** in microservices environments. * Experience with message-based architectures and system resilience. * Familiarity with observability and telemetry tools in production. **What Benefits Do We Offer?** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * ❤️ Life Insurance * Meal Voucher * Food Voucher * Remote Work * Remote Work Allowance * Childcare Assistance * Birthday Day Off * Profit Sharing Program (PLR) * Medical, psychological, and nutritional support * ️ Gympass/Totalpass
