Backend Developer

**What is the mission?** As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. Your primary mission is to ensure that solutions deliver an excellent user experience and align with industry best practices in software development. **What will you do on a day-to-day basis?** Develop solutions while ensuring performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability. * Implement and optimize backend APIs and services using C\# and Python (.NET Core). * Ensure application quality by applying development best practices such as SOLID and DDD. * Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, modeling and optimizing queries. * Collaborate with design and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. * Conduct code reviews with a systemic perspective, considering performance and impact across other parts of the application. * Safely refactor code while preserving readability/cohesion and ensuring legacy functionality remains intact after changes. * Identify failure patterns and propose corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence of issues. * Document business rules and technical decisions in a structured manner. * Actively participate in root cause analyses of technical incidents, efficiently isolating failures. * Ensure refinement and estimation efforts align with deadlines and business rules. * * Monitor metrics, logs, and alerts. **What does Educbank expect from you?** Solid backend development experience with languages such as C\#. * Experience designing RESTful API architectures. * Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ/Kafka. * Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. * Advanced technical knowledge of database concepts and modeling. * Source code repository management. * Experience with monitoring tools and CI/CD pipelines. * * Experience using monitoring tools, metric collection, and alert creation. **To go beyond:** Experience in startups, scaleups, or fintechs. * Experience with chatbots, AI, and LLMs. * Advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Kibana). * Basic understanding of application security (OWASP, compliance best practices). * * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
