




Job Summary: The Billing Assistant will be responsible for coding, billing, and auditing healthcare procedures related to inpatient and outpatient accounts, using SUS and MV systems. Opportunities for continuous professional development The São Bernardo do Campo Health Complex, a leading company in the healthcare sector, is seeking a **Billing Assistant**. **Responsibilities:** * Code, bill, and audit all healthcare procedures performed across various levels of complexity in inpatient and outpatient accounts, using SUS billing instruments: AIH, APAC, and BPAI, within the MV information system; generate production reports and statistics, accurately reporting payment amounts; * Code all hospital admission reports (AIH) according to the physician's described procedure: reason for admission, ICD code, and principal diagnosis; * Match OPME materials and secondary procedures; * Issue procedure change reports when necessary; * Bill all examinations; * Separate examinations subject to claim denials and forward information with audited reasons for such denials; * Verify reported codes, physician orders, reports, and values, and register them in the MV operational system according to the SIGTAP table; * Verify and enter all procedures into the operational system as indicated on outpatient and inpatient attendance forms, including all medical and healthcare progress notes by professional and specialty; * Register patients in the Cadweb system when not done by the unit; * File AIH reports and copies in individual production folders; * Use the SIGTAP table, BPA, APAC, SISAIH, SISCAN, SIS PRÉ NATAL, and MV systems; * Bill APACs for radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cardiac catheterization, vasectomy, and other procedures according to the SIGTAP table; * Perform consistency checks and error correction in production, and submit closing files to the Health Department; * Monitor, audit, and justify procedure changes and AIH numbering requests to the SUS Manager (Control and Audit Section); Maintain CNES system updates according to established routines. * **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with software specific to the candidate’s field of expertise. * We offer a stimulating work environment with a collaborative and committed professional team.
