Amazon is seeking a candidate for the Area Manager position at our facility. As one of the world’s most recognized brands, we distribute millions of products annually to customers worldwide. You will focus on four core areas: safety, quality, customer experience, and departmental productivity. Key job responsibilities * Analyze workload forecasts and determine daily productivity requirements to meet the facility’s overall goals * Collaborate with other Area Managers to balance workforce allocation, ensuring balanced and efficient operations while achieving all targets * Support all safety programs and regulatory compliance initiatives to ensure a safe workplace for all associates * Proactively identify and lead process improvement and Lean tooling initiatives A day in the life * 3x2 shift schedule (3 workdays followed by 3 days off, then 2 workdays followed by 2 days off) * 12-hour shifts (06:00\-18:00 or 18:00\-05:00\) * Availability to work on weekends **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements * Experience in employee and performance management **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * English skills.
