Job Summary: Data Analyst responsible for developing pipelines, building Python applications, translating data into insights, and applying machine learning techniques to drive strategic decisions. Someone who adapts easily to change and, above all, loves collaborative, team-based work. **Data Analyst** --------------------- What is your role in building this journey? * Structure the data journey: Develop and optimize robust, reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT), modeling information in our Data Lake to ensure enterprise-wide access to high-quality, high-performance data. * Act as a Python application developer: Build and maintain internal applications and tools—such as APIs and microservices—that automate processes and expose data or models at scale to other company departments. * Translate data into stories: Create impactful dashboards and visualizations that tell a clear story and enable KPI monitoring. You’ll dive deep into data to conduct thorough analyses, uncovering trends and opportunities that guide strategic decisions. * Predict the future with science: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems—e.g., predicting customer behavior, optimizing processes, and market segmentation. You’ll not only develop models but also help deploy them into production, measuring their real-world impact through experimentation (A/B testing). What experience do we expect from you? * Proficiency in SQL and Python for development: You must be able to write complex queries and have solid hands-on experience using Python—not only for analysis but also for scripting, automation, and building data pipelines. * Experience in cloud environments: Familiarity and practical experience with the data ecosystem of a cloud platform (GCP or AWS). * Experience with workflow orchestrators: Hands-on experience with tools like Airflow for scheduling, automating, and monitoring data pipelines. * Mastery in creating and optimizing complex DAGs in Airflow, ensuring workflow efficiency and resilience. * BI tool proficiency: Experience building reports and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. * Knowledge of data modeling: A solid foundation in structuring and modeling data within a Data Lake environment. * Clear and pedagogical communication: Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
