Job Summary: Work on R&D projects for thermoplastics, developing new product and process technologies, with a focus on laboratory analysis and formulation optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Design and interpretation of laboratory tests on thermoplastics Education Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or related fields, with completed postgraduate studies in the field of work. A completed master's degree is desirable, preferably in thermoplastic technology. Experience Experience in Research, Development and Innovation (RD\&I) projects in the thermoplastics field aimed at developing new product and process technologies. Experience in laboratory analysis, technical specifications, development and optimization of formulations, and processing. Knowledge Conducting and/or interpreting laboratory tests for mechanical, chemical, compositional, morphological, rheological, and thermal characterization of thermoplastics. Formulation and processing of thermoplastic compounds. Knowledge of technical standards and test methodologies applicable to the sector. Familiarity with process scale-up and technology transfer from laboratory to industrial production. Responsibilities Support and advise internal and external clients and suppliers. Prepare and issue reports, proposals, budgets, certificates, technical reports, opinions, correspondence, texts, and documents within the scope of the role. Provide technical and technological services in accordance with available technical standards and technologies. Design, develop, execute, and monitor projects, research, policies, programs, and events in the field of expertise, either independently or in collaboration with public, private, national, or international institutions. Develop, implement, and update technical and administrative standards, institutional materials, procedure manuals, and processes within the area of expertise. Participate in the preparation, execution, and monitoring of planning, budgeting, and team management processes within the area of expertise and/or integrated teams. Provide technical guidance and advisory support to professionals in the field of expertise. Advise management in decision-making. Prepare and deliver training programs related to the field of expertise and/or integrated activities. Manage inventory of materials within the area. Monitor and advise on legislation applicable to the area. Identify problems and propose improvement solutions. Lead work processes within the area of expertise and/or integrated teams. Support and advise internal and external clients and suppliers.
