Job Summary: We are looking for an SRE to ensure a highly reliable and efficient payment platform, focused on automation, resilience, and continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. We have ambitious expansion plans into new markets and aim to make a significant impact in the payments industry. The SRE in this role serves as the guardian of our reliability. They deliver a highly reliable, resilient, and cost-efficient platform that consistently meets business and customer expectations regarding availability and performance. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Increase automation of operational activities to reduce unavailability risk, in collaboration with Platform Engineering and Domain Squads. * Drive systemic improvements across engineering teams based on root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents and telemetry insights. * Implement non-functional improvements (e.g., resilience, performance, reliability) directly in code, subject to review and approval by Domain Squads. * Promote adoption of SRE best practices across development teams—including integration standards, monitoring, alerting, and real-time tracing. * Provide multi-platform observability capabilities, complementing and enhancing those already offered by Domain Squads. * Investigate issues and incidents, proposing and implementing necessary changes. * Continuously review logs, metrics, and alerts to identify and implement continuous improvements. * Design non-functional tests and execute them continuously to ensure quality delivery at all stages, including production. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory: Advanced English language proficiency. Excellent English comprehension and communication skills.** * Advanced knowledge of Grafana, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus. * Software engineering expertise in at least one of the following languages: .NET 8 (C#), Go, Java, or TypeScript. * Experience with non-functional and production testing. * Advanced experience with containers and container orchestration platforms. * Understanding of APIs and asynchronous distributed software architectures. * Practical experience with AI-powered tools such as VS Code, Claude Code, among others. * Proven experience applying AI in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). * Knowledge of process automation tools such as N8N. * Analytical mindset, capable of connecting information and identifying causes and effects. **Additional Information** CAJU Flex Card (meal or food): R$ 880.00 per month; Health insurance with co-payment for the employee; Dental insurance without co-payment for the employee; Personal life insurance with no payroll deduction; Wellhub/Gympass; 3 days off per year, aligned with internal policy guidelines and pre-approved with leadership; Parking, if visiting the São Paulo/SP office; Bonus upon achievement of targets; Childcare allowance: Eligible for parents with children up to 1 year old, regularly enrolled in private schools or daycare centers, amounting to R$ 474.50 per month. **Here, we innovate, create, and build new possibilities with autonomy and great responsibility—we care for each other, our customers, and grow together!** -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
