The challenge goes beyond simply "making the model detect objects" — it involves building robust systems, fast APIs, and stable, scalable 24/7 video processing pipelines. If you're a Python developer who enjoys seeing your code "see" and interact with the real world, this role is for you. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain Python applications focused on real-time image and video processing. * Build and evolve REST APIs to integrate computer vision outputs with our backend systems and dashboards. * Manage video streaming workflows, ensuring efficient and stable capture, processing, and metadata storage. * Operationalize AI models (e.g., YOLO), transforming model weights and architectures into production-ready, containerized services. * Ensure system observability, performing troubleshooting and resolving production issues. * Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize cloud deployment and application performance. **Requirements:** ----------------- **Minimum Requirements:** * Strong Python experience (minimum 3 years): Writing clean, modular, and performance-oriented code. * API Development: Practical experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. * Applied Computer Vision: Proficiency with OpenCV and hands-on experience implementing or consuming YOLO models (v8, v9, v10 or v11\). * Databases: Experience integrating and manipulating data (SQL or NoSQL). * Basic DevOps: Experience using Docker for container creation and management. * Pragmatic Mindset: Ability to solve operational problems and sustain applications in real-world production environments. **Nice-to-Have:** * Stream Handling: Experience with video protocols (RTSP, RTMP) and media processing libraries (FFmpeg, PyAV). * System Architecture: Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or event-driven architectures. * Cloud & Delivery: Experience with GCP and CI/CD pipelines. * Performance: Knowledge of hardware acceleration (GPU usage with CUDA/TensorRT or asynchronous processing). * Observability: Experience monitoring application logs and health metrics.
