Distributed systems design, scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and architectural trade-offs. Advanced cloud expertise, preferably Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, and design patterns (DDD, TDD). Databases: SQL, NoSQL, data streaming, and data modeling. System integration: REST/GraphQL APIs, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), gRPC, and asynchronous patterns. Information security: OWASP, IAM, OAuth2, OIDC, encryption, secure architecture best practices. DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform). Diagrams and modeling (UML, C4, ADRs).
