We are seeking a professional specialized in Application Architecture, with a focus on building and evolving Porto Serviços’ new digital platform. The professional will play a strategic role in designing the solutions underpinning the entire vertical’s operations, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and integration capability with diverse systems and partners. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced application architect who wishes to lead the technological design of an innovative digital platform from its foundations, within a high-growth vertical. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead the definition and evolution of Porto Serviços’ new digital platform architecture—from the presentation layer through backend and integrations. * Collaborate closely with business, product, design, and engineering teams to understand the platform vision and translate it into a cohesive and efficient software architecture. * Define architectural standards, design guidelines, technologies, and frameworks to be used in building the platform. * Ensure the platform architecture is scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing—capable of supporting Porto Serviços’ growth. * Design the platform’s integration architecture with internal and external systems, including APIs for partners and end users. * Develop and maintain comprehensive platform architecture documentation—including diagrams, data models, and integration specifications. * Provide technical leadership in architecture discussions with development teams, ensuring adherence to defined standards. * Identify and mitigate technical and architectural risks and challenges associated with platform development. * Promote adoption of best practices in development and architecture throughout platform construction. * Mentor and guide software engineers involved in platform development on architecture and design matters. * Evaluate and recommend continuous improvements to the platform architecture to optimize cost, performance, and scalability. * Research and prototype new technologies and architectural approaches that could add value to the digital platform. * Collaborate with the information security team to ensure the platform is built to the highest security standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education and Experience:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. * Proven experience in system construction/development. * Significant experience in architecting and building complex, scalable digital platforms. **Advanced Technical Knowledge:** * In-depth knowledge of various architectural styles (microservices, serverless, message-driven architecture, etc.) and their trade-offs, with hands-on implementation experience. * Demonstrated experience designing and implementing robust, secure APIs (RESTful, GraphQL). * Solid understanding of distributed systems design and horizontal/vertical scaling strategies. * Experience with relational and non-relational databases, and data persistence strategies for high-demand platforms. * Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services for digital platform construction (compute, storage, networking, serverless, etc.). * Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for platform deployment automation and management. * Experience with messaging and queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS). * In-depth knowledge of application and infrastructure security (authentication, authorization, encryption, OWASP). * Experience with platform monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog). * Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Event-Driven Architecture). **Additional Information** **BENEFITS** **Flexible Meal and Food Allowance;** **Health Insurance;** **Dental Insurance;** **Wellhub and TotalPass;** **Exclusive Bio Ritmo Gym for Employees:** located at the Head Office Complex;
