Verity is looking for new talents! We are a digital solutions accelerator, and we’re seeking a **Senior QA Automation Engineer** to join us on this journey. Here are the experiences and knowledge you’ll need to accelerate and transform with us: **Responsibilities and duties** * Test Automation: Create, maintain, and execute automation scripts for web applications and APIs (Postman or Pactum). * Test Strategy: Define test plans and design test scenarios using BDD (Behavior Driven Development) with Gherkin syntax. * Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality with every deployment. * Bug Management: Identify, log, and track resolution of defects using tools such as Jira or Kanbanize. * Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Dailies, Plannings, Refinements) and collaborate closely with developers and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria. **Requirements and qualifications** * Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g., JavaScript. * Automation Frameworks: Experience with industry-standard test automation tools. * API Testing: Solid knowledge of Postman, Pactum, or Swagger for backend service validation. * Databases: SQL queries for data validation and information integrity checks. * Version Control: Fluent use of Git (GitFlow).
