Job Summary:
Develop, maintain, and evolve scalable and secure backend solutions, working on architecture, API development, database optimization, and system monitoring—with a focus on quality and technical leadership.

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00
Main Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and evolve scalable and secure backend solutions;
* Design software architectures and define technical standards and best practices;
* Develop APIs, services, and integrations between internal and external systems;
* Model, optimize, and maintain databases;
* Ensure application performance, availability, and reliability;
* Monitor logs, metrics, and system observability;
* Conduct code reviews and support team code quality;
* Fix bugs, optimize processes, and implement continuous improvements;
* Collaborate with Frontend, Product, QA, and DevOps teams;
* Serve as a technical reference, mentoring less-experienced developers;
* Document solutions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
Technical Requirements
* Solid experience with AWS (SQS, SES, S3, SNS, console and SDK);
* Advanced experience with Java;
* Experience with Kafka or other messaging solutions;
* Proficiency in PostgreSQL (advanced SQL, query optimization, execution plan analysis);
* Experience with Redis;
* Knowledge of REST and SOAP integrations and microservices architecture;
* Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming and concurrent programming;
* Experience with logging, metrics, and observability;
* Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines;
* Familiarity with Git, DBeaver, Postman/Insomnia/Bruno, Jira, and using AI to support development.
Expected Experience
* Experience in projects requiring high-volume external integrations;
* Experience with highly available and mission-critical systems;
* Ability to evaluate trade-offs among performance, cost, and timeline;
* Experience acting as a technical reference for the team;
* Experience optimizing cloud resource usage;
* Ability to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
* Knowledge of Java, Python, Spark, Databricks, Parquet, Big Data, and ETL/ELT pipelines;
* Experience with DF-e / NF-e and SEFAZ integrations;
* Experience in regulated environments (ISO 27001 or SOC II).
