Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated DBA with advanced MySQL expertise to ensure performance, tuning, and optimization of complex environments, supporting database migrations and integrations. Perform MySQL environment installation, configuration, and administration. Ensure performance, tuning, and optimization by applying industry best practices. Support database migration and integration projects, ensuring high availability and data integrity. Implement and maintain clustering and replication solutions for critical environments. Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with DBA and architecture teams. Follow client-defined technical standards and best practices. Report directly to the project team. **Requirements and Qualifications:** Proven advanced knowledge of MySQL, including: Installation, configuration, and administration in complex environments. Query and index tuning, performance, and optimization. Implementation and maintenance of clusters (InnoDB Cluster, Shell, MySQL Router, Galera Cluster). Practical experience in data migration and integration projects across different platforms. Ability to start contributing immediately without an initial learning period (“hit the ground running”). Knowledge of replication tools and high-availability strategies. Results-oriented, agile, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines. **Desirable:** Intermediate knowledge of other database systems: Oracle, SQL Server. Experience in highly critical and time-sensitive environments. Experience with cloud databases (Azure, AWS RDS, OCI, Azure Database for MySQL).
