Come talk with us! \=) **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead the Data Science division, defining technical direction, demand prioritization, and best development practices; * Collaborate closely with Business Analytics and other data teams to promote technical alignment, solution integration, and advancement of the company’s analytical maturity; * Serve as a technical reference across various Data Science approaches, supporting the team in selecting methods, modeling techniques, and solution architectures; * Design, evolve, and maintain internal libraries and tools used by the Data Science team; * Actively contribute to developing technical proposals for new clients, translating business problems into analytical solutions and data models; * Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding scope, risks, timelines, and technical constraints; * Promote a collaborative environment, supporting the team’s technical development and encouraging knowledge sharing and autonomy; * Contribute to team well-being by supporting members facing daily technical and organizational challenges; * Support the structuring of processes, documentation, and standardization of Data Science deliverables. * Engage **hands\-on** in strategic or critical projects, providing technical support to the team during periods of high complexity or challenging deadlines; * Assess technical feasibility, risks, and timeline impacts, clearly communicating limitations and trade\-offs to stakeholders; * Mediate between business expectations and the team’s technical capacity, balancing quality, timelines, and delivery sustainability. **Requirements and Qualifications** Solid experience in technical leadership or managing Data Science teams; Practical knowledge across multiple Data Science domains, including: Time Series Modeling Computer Vision Graphs and complex relational modeling Parallel and/or distributed programming Multimodal models Fundamentals of NLP and natural language processing Clustering and segmentation models Attribution models such as Markov chains. Experience developing, organizing, and maintaining internal data libraries or frameworks; Experience crafting technical proposals and defining analytical solutions for clients or business units; Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences; Experience working with multiple stakeholders and departments possessing varying levels of analytical maturity; Familiarity with growing data environments or those undergoing process establishment. Prior experience serving as both technical leader and hands-on contributor, capable of shifting between strategic vision and practical implementation; Skill in managing stakeholder expectations, transparently negotiating scope, timelines, and priorities; Strong sense of accountability for team deliverables, proactively resolving issues and mitigating risks.
