Your primary focus will be **transforming raw data into GenAI solutions and ML models**. You’ll have autonomy to conduct experiments and propose solutions, acting as the statistical brain behind our AI products. **You will be responsible for:** * **Advanced Modeling:** Developing and validating Machine Learning (Supervised and Unsupervised) and Deep Learning models, ensuring the underlying mathematics aligns meaningfully with the business problem. * **Rigorous Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):** Diving deep into data to identify patterns, *outliers*, inconsistencies, and correlations—going beyond the obvious to generate actionable insights even before modeling begins. * **Scientific Experimentation:** Designing controlled experiments, defining success metrics (AUC, RMSE, F1-Score, Lift), and comparing different algorithmic approaches using sound technical judgment. * **Code Quality:** Converting exploratory notebooks into modular, efficient Python scripts ready for handoff to the MLOps team. * **AI Mathematics:** Applying knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, and probability to optimize loss functions and consciously tune hyperparameters (not just "trial and error"). * **GenAI Innovation:** Prototyping solutions using LLMs and NLP techniques, evaluating the quality of generated responses, and refining prompts/context. **Day-to-Day Activities:** * Writing complex SQL queries in BigQuery to build robust training datasets; * Testing statistical hypotheses to validate whether a new *feature* truly adds value to the model; * Reading technical documentation and research papers to implement new methods or libraries; * Collaborating with the MLOps team to ensure correct model deployment (confirming production *predict* matches training *predict*); * Presenting model results to stakeholders, translating technical terms into business language. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we seek technically:** * **Statistics and Mathematics:** Solid knowledge of probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, and mathematical foundations of algorithms (Gradient Descent, Backpropagation, vector distances). * **Python Programming:** Proficiency in data manipulation and scientific computing (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and structured script development. * **Machine Learning:** Practical experience developing Regression, Classification, Clustering, and Time Series models (Scikit-Learn, XGBoost/LightGBM). * **Data:** Fluency in SQL and ability to handle unstructured or messy data. * **Analytical Curiosity:** An investigative mindset—someone who does not accept the model’s first output and seeks to understand *why* it succeeded or failed. * **Tools:** Git usage for version control and familiarity with cloud-based development environments. **Nice-to-Haves (Eye-Catchers):** * **Deep Learning & GenAI:** Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain. * **Cloud (GCP):** Familiarity with Vertex AI and BigQuery. * **Data Visualization:** Skill in *storytelling* tools to advocate for your analyses. * **Business Acumen:** Ability to estimate the financial or operational impact of improved model accuracy. **Additional Information** By caring for our people, we become the healthcare that people desire and the world needs—check out our benefits: * Nutrition care: Meal Voucher / Food Voucher or On-site Cafeteria (depending on location); * Health care: Health Plan and Life Insurance; * Development care: Dasa University, Development & Career Cycle, Technology/PMAX Academies, and the Crescer Program within Dasa; * Others: Transportation Voucher and Performance Bonus (PPR).
