We are looking for someone with strong academic background and hands-on experience handling large-scale datasets, statistical modeling, and applied machine learning in the **financial market, credit bureaus, or specialized consulting firms.** If you are passionate about data, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to be part of a strategic team driving business decisions, this role is for you! * Develop, train, and validate statistical and machine learning models to support decision-making; * Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality and consistency; * Design and maintain data pipelines and modeling processes; * Collaborate with business areas to understand challenges and formulate data-driven solutions; * Document and present analysis and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; * Support analytical model governance and reproducibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; * **Proven prior experience in financial institutions, credit bureaus, and/or analytical consulting firms;** * Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling; * Hands-on experience developing and validating machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering, etc.); * Knowledge of Text Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Generative Artificial Intelligence. * Familiarity with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, among others; * Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, and communication skills with stakeholders; * Solid and proven experience in AI, NLP, and ML. * **Experience with MLOps frameworks.** **Additional Information** **Preferred:** * Experience with code versioning tools (Git); * Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure); * Experience with MLOps frameworks and deploying models into production; * Technical English for reading and writing. * **100% remote work** At Leega, we don’t just deliver lines of code or dashboards.
