Join Nutrien! **Responsibilities and duties** * Receive and verify samples delivered to the laboratory; * Register received samples in the laboratory's computerized system; * Assemble tetrazolium test procedures; * Classify seed upon intake, homogenize, and collect samples; * Conduct sodium hypochlorite testing upon seed intake and during storage; * Prepare and set up germination tests and plant seeds in sand beds; * Prepare and set up accelerated aging tests; * Compile data on ready batches from standard samples; * Sterilize materials and equipment as required by the department; * Separate and organize samples in the necessary quantities for all tests; * Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the area, cleaning cabinets, shelves in sample rooms, trays, and other items as needed; * Dispose of samples by directing waste to designated areas to free up space and prevent pests; **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school or pursuing higher education in Chemistry, Biology, and/or Agronomy; * Basic Office software skills; * Knowledge of botany, plant/seed structure, and plant physiology is desirable; * Valid CNH category AB driver's license; **Additional information** With global presence and strong roots in agriculture, we are part of the world's largest potash producer and stand out as an agricultural retail multinational with solid capital structure, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
